SSKTV 1st Fan Project Completed

On March 27th, the press conference for MBC's upcoming drama "When a Man Loves" starring Song Seung Heon, Shin Se Kyung, Yeon Woo Jin and Chae Jung Ahn was held in Yeouido.

International fans with ShinSeKyungTV worked with Korean fans from DC Shin Se Kyung Gallery to gather donations to cheer on actress Shin Se Kyung in her upcoming role of Seo Mi Do in the drama. A total of 150 kilograms of rice was donated in support of the actress. In addition, fans from DC Fashion King Gallery donated 100 kilograms of rice to show their support for Se Kyung in her new role.

Shin Se Kyung Is Satisfied with Playing Characters with Unfortunate Backgrounds

 

On March 27 during the press conference for upcoming MBC drama “When a Man Loves,” actress Shin Se Kyung discussed her thoughts on playing characters with unfortunate backgrounds. In addition to the role she will play in this new drama, Shin Se Kyung has in the past played another character of poor background in sitcom “High Kick Through the Roof.”

Shin Se Kyung stated, “The character I played in ‘Highkick’ must have been very memorable. Some have even suggested that I get offered these roles because I look pitiful.”

She continued, “I think many of the main characters in Korean dramas often come from unfortunate backgrounds. It is not a bad thing. Especially in melodrama, it is fitting. Perhaps continuing to play similar roles may affect my career negatively in the future, but that is something I need to overcome.”

When asked about public’s criticism on her acting skill, Shin Se Kyung answered, “I am trying my best to solve this problem. It is hard since I can’t help but be sensitive to what others think. I sometimes wonder if I should just focus on acting truthfully, or on how others would see me. I am receiving a lot of good advices from senior actors. I am doing my best.”

Meanwhile, the first episode of “When a Man Loves” will be aired on April 3, 2013.

On the 25th, MBC revealed six posters for the upcoming mini-series, When a Man Falls in Love, featuring its four lead cast members: Song Seung Heon, Shin Se Kyung, Yeon Woo Jin, and Chae Jung Ahn.

The posters showcase the actors expressing the melancholic atmosphere expected to be presented in the drama with sad and lonely gazes that evoke a longing for another.

On March 19th, the production team of MBC 'When A Man Falls In Love' revealed a new photo of Shin Se Kyung and Song Seung Heon from the drama.

In the photo, the two are sitting beside each other, and both of them are looking amazing even though they are only wearing casual outfits.

They are showing light smiles, and many people are showing great interests in their great looks.

Photos of Shin Se Kyung from new drama shootings were revealed.

Recently, the photos were uploaded on the official Facebook of her management agency, Namoo Actors.

The photos were taken from shootings of new MBC drama 'When A Man Falls In Love', and in the photos, Shin Se Kyung is showing beautiful looks.

Even though the weather was freezing, Shin Se Kyung did her best in thin clothes, and energized everyone with her bright smile.

An official said, "Shin Se Kyung is showing a great understanding and expression. She is loving her character very much, and she is always doing her best very passionately."

Shin Se Kyung Attentively Faces Each Fan During Fan Signing Event

 
Shin Se Kyung recently held a fan signing event and the way she gazed at her fans has drawn interest from the public.

The leading lady of MBC’s upcoming drama “When A Man Loves,” Shin Se Kyung’s fan signing event took place at a cafe on March 6.

Shin Se Kyung spent quality time with each fan that came for her autograph and would periodically wave her hands to fans who were waiting outside the cafe. It’s been reported that some waited more than an hour to see the starlet.

Shin Se Kyung shared her thoughts, “I didn’t know that this many people would come. I was busy lately because of filming for the drama, but I was able to have a thankful day because I received so much love from the fans. Receiving much strength from the event, I will try my best to expand my acting.”

Meanwhile, “When A Man Loves” (also starring Song Seung Hun) is slated to premiere in April after “7th Grade Civil Servant” ends.

Shin Se Kyung shows her motherly love on film set

NAMOO ACTORS updated their official FaceBook page on the morning of March 5th, with photos of Shin Se Kyung at the film set of her upcoming MBC TV Wed-Thu drama ‘When a Man Loves’.

 
In the first photo, Shin Se Kyung is seen sporting a thick jacket with tears welling in her eyes. The production team expressed that this came from an emotional scene that Shin Se Kyung was filming, and she couldn’t get out of her character immediately after filming concluded, and was trying to control herself.

 
The second photo was a big contrast to the image that Shin Se Kyung showed in the first. Shin Se Kyung kept her sad emotions away and had a big cheery smile on her face as she cared for an adorable kid. A filming staff described the situation, “Shin Se Kyung was afraid that the kid might be cold, so she carried her to give warmth, and her eyes continued to be fixed on the child throughout.”

Meanwhile, filming is currently underway for ‘When a Man Loves’ which also stars Song Seung Hun. The drama will make its debut at 9:55PM (KST) on March 4th.

On March 4, make up brand Nature Republic revealed pictures of Shin Se Kyung as its main model looking lovely and feminine. Her pink focused make up looks just right for spring that is right around the corner. With her serene expression and makeup Shin Se Kyung looks as beautiful as the wreath of flowers in her hair.

The makeup that she is wearing in the pictures are from Nature Republic’s spring collection. A part of the collection, the “Provence Blossom” line features several different kinds of blush, lipstick, gel eyeliner, eye shadow, lip gloss, and a nail kit in shades of pink, peach, and orange to create a variety of combinations for that perfect spring look.
