Song Seung Hun and Shin Se Kyung Get Into Character for ′When a Man Falls in Love′

Song Seung Hun, Shin Se Kyung, Yeon Woo Jin and Chae Jung An provided a glimpse into the complex love square to come in their drama.

The upcoming MBC drama When a Man Falls in Love released stills of the four leads from its first shoot on February 27.

In the stills, Song Seung Hun is shown as a rough and manly figure, Shin Se Kyung turns up her lovely charms, Yeon Woo Jin seems to embody both pureness and a strong will and Chae Jung An looks intense, as if she will do anything for her love.

The story of the drama starts when the charismatic Han Tae Sang (Song Seung Hun), who has led a rough life, falls in love with Seo Mi Do (Shin Se Kyung), who never loses heart even in difficult situations.

Seo Mi Do, in turn, falls in love with Lee Jae Hee (Yeon Woo Jin) and Baek Sung Ju (Chae Jung An) starts to become obsessed with Han Tae Sang.

The plot has drawn interest as a work from screenwriter Kim In Young, who previously painted her own picture of human emotions in The Equator Man and Women in the Sun.

Kim In Young commented at the first script reading session, "I′ve written many mini series, but I′ve never felt the good feelings I′ve felt for When a Man Falls in Love."

The drama′s first episode will air on April 3.

Fan Project and SSKTV Name Change?

[Please visit this post for information on how to donate.]

As Se Kyung's new drama When a Man Falls in Love is coming up in April, I wanted to gauge interest in doing a rice wreath to show our support for Se Kyung and the drama. A company called Dreame in Korea handles the rice wreath and delivery. The F1 Dreame is the most basic rice wreath. It includes 20 kg of rice and two ribbons (one for a cheer message and the other for the fan club's name). This rice wreath is priced at 100000 KRW (~92 USD). Any additional money raised would be put towards more rice. An additional 20 kg bag of rice is 60000 KRW (~55 USD). Any other suggestions for a fan project are certainly welcome. Furthermore, if anyone has any experience in organizing one; I would gladly welcome your input. Just leave a comment below if you're interested in participating. Update: We can bundle together with the wonderful fans over at the DC Inside SSK Gallery! I can create a PayPal for international fans and then send it to who's collecting the money there or they can create one for us.

In addition, I wanted to see if people where okay with changing the name from "ShinSeKyungTV" to "Shin Se Kyung International" since the focus has expanded beyond providing videos which has always been risky business anyways. I'm considering keeping the SSKTV name for YouTube and Dailymotion, but I'm worried that might cause some confusion as I'm trying to unify like-minded fans so any feedback on the name change would be greatly appreciated and other suggestions for a name change are also encouraged. I'll end up registering the domain name for whatever we end up choosing, so please contribute within the next couple of weeks.

Finally, I would like to apologize to all the OCD people out there. I only know a little bit of HTML/CSS, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix the tabs under the heading. When I try adjusting the padding, it ends up changing the margins instead, so I would appreciate it if anyone could take a look at the site's code and help troubleshoot.

Song Seung Hun, Shin Se Kyung Attend First Script Reading of “When A Man Falls In Love”

The first script reading from the upcoming MBC drama took place.

MBC recently released pictures of the main actors of their upcoming drama “When A Man Falls in Love” in their first script reading.

The reading took place on February 18th, at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan, and besides Song Seung Hun, Shin Se Kyung, supporting roles Yeon Woo Jin & Chae Jung Ahn, as well as others were also present.

Their reading went well, as their atmosphere was very smooth and very professional, while the actors read and acted some of the scenes.

“When A Man Falls in Love” directed by Kim Sang Ho (Arang and The Magistrate, A Man and A Woman) and written by Kim In Young (Man From the Equator, A Man and A Woman) is about a man (Song Seung Hun) in his mid-30s who falls in love with his late boss' woman. He then meets a younger woman (Shin Se Kyung) and falls in love with her too because of her lovely yet strong personality that reminds him of himself when he was younger.

The drama is expected to air after “Level 7 Civil Servant” ends in early April.

Shin Se Kyung Wants to Feed Little Junsu

Junsu, one of today’s rising stars, has gotten the attention of Shin Se Kyung.

On February 21, Shin Se Kyung tweeted, “I made sweet red bean jelly with lots of chestnuts!” She posted a picture of her creation, as her followers responded.

One of the tweeters was actor Lee Jong Hyuk, who said, “Please give me some.”
Shin Se Kyung than replied, “If it’s for Junsu, I can make even ten boxes of them.”
Lee Jong Hyuk wrote, “Junsu is waiting…endlessly. Ke.”

Junsu is the six-year old son of Lee Jong Hyuk, and the father-son pair is currently gaining popularity on MBC’s hit program, Dad! Where Are We Going?

Looking very similar to his actor father, Junsu has been capturing the hearts of viewers with his adorable playfulness on the show.
